Jiemei (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Seremban. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, and supporting the company's ongoing growth.

Overview

Must possess at least a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients. Possess initiative, able to work independently and as a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience in accounting or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify to ensure all sales or purchase invoices are supported with a complete set of documents as required.
• Perform and check all ledgers and journals are correct before final posting.
• Prepare payments and ensure monthly accounts updated on time.
• Monitor bank balance and transfer of funds to achieve the lowest cost of financing.
• Mid-year and year-end stocktake preparation and arrangement.
• Prepare and submit all reports as per Malaysia Accounting Standards Board (MASB) Standards, Income Tax Act, Company Act and any other statutory requirements.
• To perform other tasks assigned from time to time by direct & indirect Superior.
