What The Day Will Look Like
The System Analyst (SA) provides strategic business analysis support to internal business stakeholders and clients where applicable. The SA works closely with assigned clients to understand their business needs and bridges the gap between business requirements and technical / operational solutions. Responsibilities include analysing business needs, documenting client requirements into APAC and Aon standard templates, and delivering guidance on functionality, terminology, and standard operating procedures that reflect service delivery and system capabilities. This can include new client implementations, extensions of services, or enhancements of current services. The role also works on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives to improve productivity and deliver critical solutions locally, regionally and globally.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead business requirements gathering for new client implementations and manage complex change requests during renewals, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct requirements workshops with clients to gather and understand business requirements and client processes, and translate them into standard templates for internal use.
- Clarify requirements with internal teams and communicate client expectations to ensure mutual understanding of requirements, processes and service delivery.
- Review Operating Procedures (SOP), Admin Process Documents (APD), and Claim Rules Arrangement (CRA); provide feedback and recommendations for operational improvements.
- Oversee end-to-end Change Request processes, ensuring changes are effectively managed and communicated across stakeholders, aligned with regional / global standards.
- Coordinate with Data Analysts to ensure alignment of technical and report specifications with client requirements.
- Support internal teams to resolve issues and defects, coordinating with Configuration System Analysts and Solution Architects on simple design solutions.
- Work with development teams to outline business requirements for new system features as needed by clients.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams locally, regionally, globally and externally to achieve optimal business outcomes within regional and Aon methodologies, best practices, budgets and timelines.
- Support productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned projects.
- Undertake project management on relevant internal and external projects where assigned.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, Economics (preferred) or relevant field.Experience
2-3 years proven track record as a Business Analyst or System Analyst or within a project / implementation environment with analysis, specification development and testing execution.Experience in Health Solutions or Group Insurance domain (Employee Benefits Insurance) is an advantage.Online benefits experience is an added advantage.Skills & Competencies
