Overview
The Head of Finance reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), who oversees the Group’s retail mall, corporate office buildings, car park operations, and facilities management. This role serves as a strategic partner to the COO, contributing actively to business planning, strategy development, and operational execution. The incumbent must exhibit strong leadership and people-management skills to promote collaboration, deliver on key initiatives, and uphold compliance in achieving the Business Unit’s objectives. The Head of Finance is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing insights that support sustainable growth and profitability across the Business Unit’s diverse portfolio.
Lead the full spectrum of financial functions for the Business Unit and its subsidiaries, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
Present monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including performance dashboards and key financial indicators, to the management and stakeholders.
Business Performance & Operational Finance
Oversee the financial performance of the retail, office, and car park operations, ensuring profitability through cost control, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
Partner closely with leasing, operations, and facilities management teams to evaluate commercial viability, improve margins, and manage financial risks.
Drive revenue growth strategies in car park management through dynamic pricing, promotional planning, and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies, including tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory filings.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure the integrity of financial information, and mitigate operational risks.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely audits, reviews, and submissions.
Proactively identify and address compliance risks, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
