Account Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join the finance team at Goldtex Exim Sdn Bhd in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will provide crucial support to the accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to the overall financial health and success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain and update the company's general ledger
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Provide support for audits and other financial reporting requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and analysis
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
