Cochlear is seeking a meticulous and proactive
to support the localisation of product labelling and software. This role is pivotal in ensuring that translated content meets quality, regulatory, and brand standards across global markets. You’ll work closely with the Localisation Project Manager to manage translation workflows and deliverables.
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance checks and proofing tasks to ensure compliance with standards. Support additional team coordination tasks as needed.
- Provide input on tools and systems to enhance project coordination efficiency.
- What You’ll Bring
- Required :
- Tertiary qualification in one of the following fields; Translation & Interpretation, Linguistics or Applied Linguistics, English Language & Literature, Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology or Software Engineering (for software localisation).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Desired :
- Translation qualifications or accreditation.
- Experience with computer-assisted translation CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados) and / or translation management systems.
- Familiarity with workflow tools and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Team Role Individual contributor role with responsibilities for quality assurance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. Expected to work safely, follow procedures, and report hazards or incidents.
- 2–4 years of experience
- in project coordination. Strong attention to detail, proofing skills, and problem-solving ability.Effective interpersonal and organisational skills.

- Experience working with external suppliers, especially language service providers.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as medical or healthcare.
