Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Coordination
Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
Allocate manpower, machinery, and raw materials efficiently.Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.Operations MonitoringSupervise glove dipping lines, curing, stripping, and packing operations.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).Track production output, downtime, and wastage, and report variances to management.Quality & ComplianceWork closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain product quality standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, WRAP, SMETA, and customer audit requirements.Identify and address production defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions.People ManagementSupervise and motivate line leaders, operators, and support staff.
Conduct on-the-job training for operators to improve productivity and skill levels.Enforce discipline, safety practices, and compliance with company policies.Continuous ImprovementImplement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity.
Analyze process bottlenecks and recommend improvements.Support automation and smart manufacturing initiatives (e.g., SCADA, AGV, ASRS).Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Maintain accurate records of material usage, rejects, and rework.Assist in budget control through monitoring material and labor costs.Working ConditionsWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various machinery and equipment.
Occasional lifting and standing for extended periods of time.Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is essential.Key Requirements
Education : Diploma / Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.Experience : Minimum 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in glove or rubber-based industries. Fresh graduates with internship exposure may also be considered.Technical SkillsKnowledge of glove production processes (dipping, leaching, curing, stripping, packing).
Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA, and environmental standards.Proficiency in MS Office; SAP / ERP knowledge is an added advantage.Soft Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.Others : Willing to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
