Role Description
This is a contract role for a Payroll Accounting Analyst located on-site in Ampang. The Payroll Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll-related financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The individual will also perform payroll reconciliations, journal entries (accounting), and support audits.

The main responsibility is to manage the payroll process activities and controls for a number of countries across the world.We are looking for experienced Payroll Accounting Analysts to support various payroll process for Europe and Africa Regions.If you are ready to take on a bigger challenge and take up the role of Payroll Accounting Analyst to prepare the calculation, payment and reconciliation of international payroll process and have the below attributesReporting to the payroll accounting lead who covers the scope of payroll accounting for a portfolio of countriesAssist with preparing the analysis from our various ERPs to the compensation and benefits accounts including accounting policy implementationsAssist to resolve unreconciled accounts.Assist with Project CFIN to HFM Tie-OutReview and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist to review and update payroll accounting processesWork closely with external and internal auditors to assist in completion of audit deliverablesEngage and deal with payroll specialists and hr and other internal stakeholders for the regionsManage accounting process for payroll and related employee accruals, as well as T&E tasksEnsure accounting processes are followed in accordance with documented processes and recommend areas for improvementAssist with update to processes and procedure documentationHandling communication with colleagues and the payroll COE teams about data gathering and analysis and query resolutionContribute and helping in different projects for the region supporting for another regions in payroll accountingEssential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies)
Years of experience : 3-5 yearsField of experience : Finance / AccountingTechnical Skills : Financial analysis & reporting, Accounting Standards knowledge (IFRS / GAAP)Soft Skills : Critical thinking, Problem Solving and adaptabilityTools or Software (Required) : SAP or Oracle, Excel, HFMEducation Qualifications : Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance, or equivalent.Industry Background or Experience (Required) : Finance, Shared servicesRequired Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including driving License : N / ADesirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies) :ACCA / CIMA / CPA / CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantageExperience in Shared Service will be added advantagePossess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product.Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesTeam-player and customer-centric attitudeExperience in SAP, Pascal or Oracle will be added advantageInterested?
