Business Development Executive
Smart Decor WP, located in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the exclusive distributor and training centre for Coohom – a cutting‑edge interior design and rendering software – across Southeast Asia.
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales growth, build lasting client relationships, and support design professionals in transforming their workflow.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
Handle and qualify inbound leads, guiding potential clients through the initial sales funnel stages.
Suggest and perform structured outbound sales activities, including cold calling and social media outreach, to create new business opportunities.Conduct research and analyze market trends and potential client segments to identify prospects and expand the client base.Client Relationship & SalesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their design and software needs to offer tailored solutions.
Conduct engaging product presentations and demos, showcasing software capabilities and benefits to prospective clients.Manage subscription renewals, ensuring client retention by proactively addressing needs and resolving issues.Involve in client negotiations and serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries.Achieve individual and team targets while contributing to the overall business strategy.Accurately document all interactions and sales activities in the CRM system, keeping client records up‑to‑date.Track personal sales targets, conversion rates, and other key performance metrics to meet or exceed goals.Assist the Business Development Manager in preparing sales forecasts and reports.Collaboration & Cross‑Functional CoordinationCollaborate with the Client Success team to ensure smooth handover and ongoing support for new clients.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars, building professional networks and staying informed of industry trends.Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the interior design and rendering software market to effectively address client inquiries and provide informed recommendations.Participate in training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and CRM usage.Travel : Must be open to travel (vehicle required).Qualifications
Experience in SaaS or interior design / furniture industry sales.Strong communication and presentation skills.Familiarity with design software such as Coohom , SketchUp , or AutoCAD .Enjoys collaborating across teams.Multilingual in English , Malay , and Mandarin .Full‑time employment preference.#J-18808-Ljbffr
