Purpose of the role
The HR Business Partner delivers hands‑on HR support to local leaders and employees, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and programs at the country level.
Responsibilities
- HR Partnering : Serve as the primary HR partner for local leaders, advising on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution. Foster an inclusive, high‑performance work environment.
- People Operations : Lead local implementation of HR programs (recruitment, onboarding, talent development, offboarding) in partnership with the global HR Excellence Center. Ensure local labor law compliance and support compensation & benefits guidance.
- Employee Engagement & Culture : Promote DHI’s values, drive engagement initiatives, support survey delivery, and champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Change Enablement : Support organisational changes, restructures, and transitions, communicating HR changes effectively to employees and managers.
- Workforce Planning & Talent Enablement : Partner with local leaders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning and career development pathways, and contribute to succession planning.
- Data‑driven HR : Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; monitor and report key country HR metrics.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration : Coordinate with Finance, Legal, IT, and other functions to ensure cohesive HR service delivery at the country level.
- Business Impact : Deliver efficient, compliant, people‑centric HR practices that enable business continuity and growth at the country level.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.3–5 years of progressive HR experience (generalist, advisor, or business partner roles).Solid understanding of local labor laws, HR policies, and compliance.Experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR program delivery.Familiarity with recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and compensation practices.Office Location
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
