• Act as the primary liaison with outsourced payroll vendor(s)
• Own payroll calendar, approvals, audits, and reconciliations
• Validate inputs and outputs for each cycle (hires, terminations, bonuses, etc.)
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or escalations
• Manage internal compliance with tax, wage laws, and SOX requirements
• Partner with Finance, HRBPs, Benefits, and Legal to ensure payroll accuracy
• Support payroll accounting function as needed
• Prepare payroll reports and dashboards for leadership
• Recommend and implement process improvements and automation
