Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at MGV Industries Sdn Bhd. Based in Besut, Terengganu, this full‑time position will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion for our company.

What you’ll be doing

• Understand product specifications, ingredients, packaging, costing, and unique selling points (USP)
• Monitor and ensure profitability per product / customer
• Understand factory capabilities including production capacity, MOQ, and process flow
• Prepare quotations aligned with company profit targets and approved terms
• Draft, manage, and renew customer contracts with proper documentation and stamping
• Analyze sales trends and provide accurate sales forecasts to support production planning
• Monitor ROL (Reorder Levels) and FG stock buffer to prevent aging / expiry issues
• Conduct actual vs forecast sales analysis and present insights to management
• Collaborate with clients to develop new SKUs and grow account value
• Acquire new customers that fit MGV’s production capabilities
• Promote house brands and OEM capabilities via social media marketing
• Study cost structures and propose improvements without compromising quality
• Manage slow‑moving ingredients and packaging inventory in coordination with customers
• Monitor credit terms and ensure timely collection of payments
• Develop and propose new product concepts (STAR Products) with high USP value
• Strengthen brand presence through creative and consistent social media campaigns
