Position Summary :
Leads the procurement of project materials and oversees inventory management across multiple store locations (HQ and outstation). Ensures timely and cost-effective procurement, optimal stock levels, and efficient daily operations of the store team to support project delivery and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Procurement (Project Materials)
Manage the procurement process for all project-related materials in line with approved specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Process PRs and POs accurately and within the required lead time.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, follow up on deliveries, and expedite urgent materials.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure material delivery matches project schedules. Maintain accurate procurement tracking reports for management review.
Inventory Management :
Oversee inventory operations for multiple store locations (HQ and outstation).
Supervise the Store & Delivery Supervisor and a team of 5–6 store personnel.Ensure all incoming materials are verified against POs and delivery orders.Monitor daily material issuance and maintain accurate stock records.Conduct periodic stock counts, reconcile variances, and maintain reorder levels.Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste, damage, or stockouts.Coordinate logistics for material transfers between sites.Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Diploma holders with strong experience may be considered).Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.Proven experience managing multiple store locations and supervising teams.Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Familiarity with stock control software.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Knowledge of safety, handling, and storage requirements for engineering materials preferred.
