Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy, transformation, and growth journey. This role plays a pivotal part in driving business improvement, managing change, and aligning financial objectives with corporate strategy. The ideal candidate will be a proactive business partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, with the foresight to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and propose impactful strategies that enhance shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Change Management
- Drive organizational transformation initiatives to strengthen financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
- Partner closely with the CEO and business leaders to define and execute strategic priorities.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business expansion.
- Lead change management across finance and related business functions, promoting a culture of agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of group financial management including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and compliance.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for a public listed entity.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices across the group.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support growth and profitability targets.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with CEOs, business unit heads, and board members to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and investors.Provide clear, data-driven insights and communication to support strategic decisions and investor relations.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of 30+ professionals across multiple functions.Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture, ensuring continuous professional development and alignment with organizational goals.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a public listed.Proven track record in driving change management, financial transformation, and business improvement.Strong strategic mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose actionable, value-adding strategies.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging board members, investors, and cross-functional leaders.Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing large teams.High integrity, resilience, and commercial acumen.What Client Offers
