Overview
Responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This role is crucial for implementing robust maintenance procedures, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving improvements to minimize downtime and enhance overall plant productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for all plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Promptly diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, and mechanical / electrical failures to minimize operational downtime and production losses.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and lead equipment upgrade projects from conception to completion.
- Manage an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies. Source and procure necessary components, ensuring critical parts are readily available while managing costs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere strictly to company safety policies and national industry regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on all equipment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair logs using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Prepare technical reports on equipment performance, maintenance outcomes, and department KPIs.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and cost-reduction initiatives within the Production Department.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance engineer, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.High proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical / mechanical schematics.Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Preferable candidate with proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.To apply : Send your latest CV to HR Department , and ensure your email title includes the position you're applying for and the location.
