Location : Shah Alam, Selangor (Malaysia)

Role Summary

The Senior Finance & Accounting – Assistant Manager position is a key role within the Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and support management in achieving business objectives. This role requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including monthly account closing, preparation of Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets, cash flow management, accounts receivable / payable, and fixed assets.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to headquarters and regulatory authorities, including statutory submissions, audits, and production reports.

Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions to manage banking operations, fund transfers, and reconciliations.

Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by applying continuous improvement principles, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Support management in financial planning, decision-making, and other ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to overall business objectives.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin (spoken) is an advantage.

Skilled in MS Office and accounting systems.

Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Own transport is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly salary : RM 5,500 – RM 8,000 (based on experience)
