Job Summary :
To support the Facilities Manager in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and improvement of facility systems, utilities, and services. The role ensures smooth day-to-day facilities management, supervises the facilities team, and assists in managing contractors, budgets, and compliance requirements across assigned sites. Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Facilities Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all facility operations and maintenance activities. Provide leadership and guidance to facilities engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure operational excellence. Support the development and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Monitor the performance of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, utilities). Ensure proper execution of facilities-related projects, renovations, and upgrades. Support in managing service contracts, vendors, and procurement for facilities-related work. Monitor facility operating budgets, track expenditures, and assist in cost optimization initiatives. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, local authorities). Provide support in developing mid- to long-term facilities strategies, including reliability and sustainability initiatives. Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and records (maintenance logbooks, energy consumption, compliance audits). Coordinate with other sites to monitor and provide facilities support where required. Act as the Facilities Manager’s delegate in his / her absence. Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related field. Master’s degree in Facilities Management (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, utilities). Experience in managing contractors, vendors, and project delivery. Good understanding of preventive maintenance and CMMS systems. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
