Senior Technical Support Engineer (Contract On-site)

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to :
- Oversee ANPR system operations, ensuring smooth functionality of both hardware and software.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts and assign tasks to technical support staff.
- Liaise with the mall’s facility management team and vendors for maintenance and repair schedules.
- Liaise with Tapway’s personnel for knowledge transfer and L3 troubleshooting / rectification
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, uptime requirements, and incident response times.
- Provide weekly / monthly reports on system performance, issues encountered, and resolution actions.
- Conduct training and guidance for junior technical support staff.
- Document system updates, fixes, and modifications for reference.
Job Requirements
Basic knowledge of computer networking and operating systems2-3 years experience in technical support fields or project management.Basic software or programming knowledge and basic network configuration, such as SQL (optional), IP Networking, IP Camera Setting or Linux Operating SystemPossess good software and hardware troubleshooting skills .Must have own transport to travel to client's sitesMust be willing to work on short notice outside of work hoursTeam player and able to deliver solutions within a tight timeline.Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.Individual who is passionate, resourceful, self-motivated, highly committed, a team player and able to motivate othersAn unending willingness to learnStrong leadership qualitiesMust be willing to work in a highly dynamic and challenging technology company environment.We offer great growth potential in a fast-growing AI and Cloud industry, with a contract employment type for 1 year and potential for renewal.
