Responsibilities

• Ensure legal, regulatory and tax compliance
• Ensure accurate tax provision for the Group
• Compile information required to draft statutory disclosures, co‑coordinate completion of tax disclosures
• Oversee the Group’s Tax reporting process, including organising deliverables and timetable with tax agents and auditors
• Estimate forecast profitability for the purposes of estimating interim tax payments
• Prepare withholding tax clearances and other ad hoc tax filings required.
• Carry out historical review of Group’s related party transactions to ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing policies
• Continuously performing tax health check for the Group and propose improvement initiative
• Liason with Tax Authorities on audit and investigation, application and appeal on tax related matters
• Assist in research and analysis of tax issues on both Malaysia and other jurisdiction as delegated

Qualifications

Academic / Professional Qualification

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
