The Manager – Insurance is responsible for managing the full spectrum of insurance functions for Lion Group, including insurance coverage, claims, risk assessments, and stakeholder coordination. This role will lead day-to-day insurance operations, act as the key liaison with brokers and underwriters, and oversee the strategic management of the Group.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and administer the Insurance Program for Lion Group to ensure that all company assets including employees and company liabilities with insurable interest are adequately and appropriately insured.
- Serve as the primary liaison with insurance stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, adjusters, and reinsurance partners.
- Manage insurance claims end-to-end – from incident notification to coordination of documentation and settlement.
- Oversee the operations and strategic direction of the Labuan insurance captive.
- Organize and coordinate risk management surveys and site visits for insurance assessments.
- Evaluate and review insurance risk exposure, cost mitigation strategies, and policy clauses to ensure optimal coverage and value.
- Drive the renewal process by preparing underwriting documentation and addressing queries from insurers and brokers.
- Maintain and update internal insurance policies and SOPs in line with regulatory and business requirements.
Requirements :
Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or broking.Strong knowledge of property, liability, employee benefits, and captive insurance structures.Hands‑on experience in claims handling, policy negotiations, and insurance renewals.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – comfortable working with internal stakeholders and external partners.Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and lead cross-functional coordination.#J-18808-Ljbffr
