Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Regional Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales and build strong relationships across key accounts in the Oilfield and Chemical industries. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities, deliver customized solutions, and achieve sales targets.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key technical and operational decision-makers.
- Understand clients’ specific operational challenges, technical requirements, and business objectives.
- Identify and develop sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Tailor and present technical solutions using the company’s products and services.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for the assigned territory and provide regular progress updates.
- Negotiate both technical and commercial aspects of contracts with clients.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Effectively translate technical product features into clear business benefits such as profitability, cost savings, and risk reduction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Laboratory, Production, and Supply Chain, to develop and customize solutions.
- Monitor and analyze competitor products, technologies, and market positions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological innovations, and regulatory developments affecting clients and the market.
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred)Minimum 5 years of relevant technical sales experience in the drilling servicesTechnical Acumen :Strong understanding of oilfield processes, equipment, and engineering principlesProficient in sales techniques, contract negotiation, and basic financial analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand client perspectives and present clear, value-based narrativesExceptional interpersonal and networking abilitiesAble to perform under pressure, manage rejection constructively, and adapt to dynamic market needs#J-18808-Ljbffr
