Responsibilities
Manage the procurement of medications and pharmacy related items in accordance with company policy and hospital requirements.
Monitor and cross check the Reorder Quantity Report from the Pharmacy Department to verify stock levels, MOQ, and lead time accuracy before processing any purchase request.
Coordinate with the Hospital Pharmacy Manager to confirm usage trends, stock balances, and upcoming needs to ensure appropriate ordering.
Maintain and update all procurement related records and reports accurately.
Monitor medication expiry dates and coordinate with suppliers on near expiry or excess stock management.
Liaise with vendors on purchases, quotations, deliveries, and stock related issues to ensure timely supply.
Assisting Group Procurement in terms of price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and cost saving initiatives to optimize pharmaceutical spending across Hospitals.
Support and coordinate pharma procurement arrangements across Aurelius Hospitals, maintaining consistency in pricing, supplier management, and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
