• Job Description
• Support the superior via active involvement in financial operations particularly in the General Ledger function.
• Keep track and ensure proper recording of all financial and accounting transactions, i.e. monies coming in and going out via the proper purchase, marketing and accounting records maintenance.
• Perform checking on the Account Payable, Account Receivable, Cash Book and posting of General Journal transactions into the accounting system.
• Ensure the sufficiency of funds at bank for each account. Perform fund transfer and to make sure the surplus funds to be placed as STMMD for interest gaining purpose. Liaise with the relevant parties for the preparation of fund transfer and placement of fund in bank.
• Coordinate all accounting activities and ensure that the month end procedures are completed on a timely basis and subsequently produce the management account.
• Prepare monthly management account after each month closing for Manager’s review.
• Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Prepare tax computation when is necessary.
• Arrange and coordinate Fixed Asset Sightings on a yearly basis with respective departments.
• Liaise with Auditors and any other parties that required information on Finance matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and safe keeping of department’s written materials.
• Perform any other duties, which may be assigned or directed by the line of report from time to time.
