Senior Process Engineer

Overview

An international EPC based in KL is seeking a

Senior Process Engineer , specializing in

Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO)

systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of process systems onboard FPSOs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires extensive experience in offshore oil & gas processing, process simulation, and multidisciplinary coordination. Key Responsibilities

Lead process engineering activities for FPSO projects, from conceptual design to commissioning and operations support. Develop and review

process flow diagrams (PFDs) ,

piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) , heat and material balances, and process datasheets. Perform

process simulations

using software such as

Aspen HYSYS ,

UniSim , or

PRO / II . Conduct feasibility studies, process optimization, and troubleshooting of FPSO process systems. Ensure compliance with

API, ASME, IEC , and international safety standards related to FPSO operations. Provide technical support during

FEED, detailed engineering, and project execution

phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated system performance. Participate in

HAZOP ,

HAZID ,

LOPA , and

SIL

assessments to mitigate risks associated with FPSO process operations. Provide guidance to junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives. Support the commissioning, start-up, and operational phases of FPSO projects. Application Information
