The Role : Key Account Manager

This role will be based in Malaysia but will also be responsible for managing Singapore accounts , requiring travel to Singapore as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire post-Go-Live journey, ensuring smooth renewals and long-term success.
  • Customer Engagement & Onboarding : Lead kick-off calls, introduce customers to the platform, and clarify post-implementation priorities.
  • Escalation & Issue Resolution : Handle escalations, track ETAs, and ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management : Maintain structured and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Adoption & Updates : Keep customers informed about major product releases, new features, and best practices.
  • Account Growth & Expansion : Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive account expansion.
  • Billing & Payments : Ensure timely invoicing, payments, and resolution of financial queries.
  • Forecasting & Planning : Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and 12-month growth plans for each account.
  • Churn Prevention & Retention : Monitor customer health, implement retention strategies, and manage renewal processes.
  • Internal Reporting & Insights : Publish detailed reports on churn, improvement areas, and key account insights.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to address dependencies and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Competencies

  • Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or IT project management.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a bias for decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams in different geographies.

    Key Account Managers will have an NRR target, making them eligible for :

  • OTE bonus
  • Commission-based incentives for achieving upsell and cross-sell targets
