Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Steward Supervisor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our kitchen and food service areas. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards
• Train and mentor stewarding staff on proper procedures, equipment usage, and chemical handling
• Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and kitchen equipment
• Coordinate with other departments to support smooth kitchen operations and event setups
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for cleanliness and sanitation
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the stewarding department
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
