About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will manage and oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support management in making sound financial decisions. You will also play a supervisory role by guiding junior team members and ensuring smooth finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare full set of accounts, monthly financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly and yearly accounts.
- Prepare budget reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Support management with financial analysis and advise on key financial decisions.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.Maintain proper records for audit and statutory reporting.Accounts Payable & Receivable
Monitor creditor and debtor aging reports, follow up on collections, and manage payments.Ensure accurate processing of invoices, claims, and reimbursements.Team Supervision & Process Improvement
Monitor and supervise junior accounts staff, providing guidance and support in day-to-day tasks.Review and check work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.Identify opportunities for process improvements in finance operations.Collaborate with other departments (procurement, sales, operations) on financial matters.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in accounting or finance (SME experience is an advantage).Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior staff.Job Type : Full-time
