Senior Research & Product Development Executive (R&D)

Overview

Senior Research & Product Development Executive (R&D). The role involves studying market trends, understanding client needs, delivering products that meet expectations, and designing strategies to stabilize products in the market and maximize profit for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Development of new product prototypes and optimization of existing products.
• Improve current products by optimizing product attributes.
• Develop and maintain accurate records related to products (formulas, label development, production process, HACCP, product specifications, nutritional data, shelf life, etc.).
• Assess raw materials (new suppliers / new samples) and support evaluations and risk analysis of ingredients.
• Evaluate new raw materials and conduct sensory analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Review technical specification documentation for compliance with company requirements.
• Provide basic application samples and usage recommendations as needed.
• Develop processing parameters with current equipment to improve efficiency and yields.
• Provide technical support to customers seeking product information and guidance on product applications / usage.
• Promote nutraceutical and skin care products through strong product knowledge.
• Update healthcare professionals on product progress and development; participate in events, conferences, and seminars.
• Coordinate with administration and warehouse to ensure sufficient stock and on-time product delivery to customers; provide training to customers when needed and share product information with colleagues, especially new hires.
• Perform other duties as required.
