Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Innovation : Lead and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery of new or improved products that meet defined specifications.
Product Development & Commercialization : Collaborate with Marketing and customers from concept development through to product launch.
Laboratory Analysis & Troubleshooting : Conduct lab work and analytical testing to evaluate prototypes and production samples.
Prototype Development & Production Trials : Work with cross-functional teams to develop kitchen samples and support pilot or plant trials.
Data Analysis & Technical Recommendations : Interpret test data to support decision-making and product optimization.
Raw Material Sourcing & Development : Identify and evaluate alternative raw materials for cost-saving or supply assurance purposes.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive records of all R&D activities and project documentation.
Independent Task Management : Perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and accountability.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary or a related field
1–3 years of experience in product development or R&D in the food industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience in laboratory testing, formulation, and product trials
Excellent communication and technical writing abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant analytical tools
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
