Durioo+ is a dynamic tech start-up company located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. It was founded by the creative thing behind the creative mind behind the phenomenally successful preschool cartoons Omar & Hana and Didi & Friends. Both cartoons have amassed more than 18 million subscribers and an incredible 8 billion views on YouTube. As a proud member of Y-Combinator (W22), Durioo+ serves as a safe streaming platform for animations and videos designed specifically for children.

Durioo+ operates on a subscription-based model. We produce, co-produce, and license entertaining, ethical, and meaningful content tailored for children. Launched in February 2022, we already boast more than 36,000 paid subscribers and host over 16,000 pieces of content on our platform and numbers are growing every month. All our content is meticulously curated to align with Islamic teachings and values.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our sales team and drive new subscriptions for Durioo+. The ideal candidate is a creative go‑getter who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys connecting with audiences both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new subscribers through on-ground events, TikTok Live, and WhatsApp funnels.
• Manage the full sales cycle for new subscriptions — from lead generation and nurturing to conversion and retention.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop engaging sales campaigns and promotional materials.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee on-ground events designed to maximize subscription sign‑ups and brand engagement.
• Lead TikTok Live sales sessions : plan live content, refine sales pitches, and analyze performance metrics.
• Develop and implement scalable sales processes using WhatsApp to drive conversations and conversions effectively.
• Analyze sales data and campaign performance to identify trends, optimize initiatives, and forecast revenue growth.
• Stay updated with digital sales trends and competitor activities to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Prepare regular performance reports and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
