The Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) is seeking a dynamic Project & Membership Executive to support our flagship International Rubber Glove and Conference Exhibition (IRGCE) exhibitions, membership growth and digital presence. Responsibilities
- IRGCE Sales & Stakeholder Engagement : Support the Project Director in booth-sales targets and sponsorship acquisitions; maintain sales databases, generate regular performance reports and track KPI progress; coordinate timely communications with prospects, confirmed exhibitors, sponsors and partners; prepare proposals, quotations and sales presentations; follow up on enquiries through the entire sales cycle.
- IRGCE Event Coordination & Operations : Assist with end-to-end event logistics : venue liaison, contractor coordination, on-site setup; monitor operational timelines and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule; manage delegate registration, exhibitor services and speaker coordination; collaborate with vendors and internal teams for seamless event execution; keep project documentation, operational checklists and post-event reports up to date.
- Membership Management : Identify and engage potential new members; guide them through the application process; prepare Management Committee papers for membership approvals and terminations; maintain and regularly update the membership database and produce the annual directory.
- Website & Content Coordination : Source and draft timely website content on government policies, MARGMA events and industry updates; liaise with our web-development vendor to ensure accuracy, functionality and design consistency.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field1–3 years’ experience in event and exhibition coordination, member services or association management (an advantage)Strong organisational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication; professional and customer-focused demeanorProficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with website managementDetail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive under pressure in fast-paced settingsSelf-driven, proactive, adaptable and quick to learnStrong interpersonal skills; able to liaise confidently with senior stakeholdersHigh integrity and professionalism when handling confidential informationAdditional Information
