PARTNERSHIP MANAGER – STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur City for a Partnership Manager – Strategic Partnerships. The role involves building and managing business relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and utilizing analytical skills to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and secure new partnership opportunities with business networks, trade associations, private companies, digital platforms, and other relevant organizations to expand IFS Malaysia’s reach.
- Manage the full partnership cycle including prospecting, negotiation, structuring agreements, and onboarding partners in alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners, ensuring long-term collaboration, alignment of interests, and mutual growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, product, compliance, IT, operations) to structure and execute partnership agreements, including system integration and process alignment where required.
- Represent IFS Malaysia in external events, networking sessions, and industry discussions to strengthen the brand’s presence and credibility.
- Monitor, track, and report on partnership performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in partnership management, business development, or financial services. Prior exposure to SME-related products (Factoring, ARP, SCF, SME financing) is an advantage.Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills with proven ability to close and manage strategic partnerships.Self-motivated, independent, and target-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong presentation and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.Familiarity with SME ecosystems, business platforms, or financial products will be highly regarded.Seniority level
