- General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network. In this role you will be managing and maximizing business opportunities from existing sponsored accounts and develop new sponsors or partners for all consumer products across all distribution channel which includes but not limited to telemarketing, over the counter and online to meet and exceed agreed performance and financial targets.
- How you will create an impact
- Develop strategies and execute partners sales / marketing plans to maximize revenue generation from existing and new partners.
- Represent AIG in the market to extend the reach, presence and create awareness on direct marketing opportunities for sponsors.
- Develop and secure new corporate partners / sponsors with sizeable customer base with multiple point of sale for direct marketing programs to achieve agreed new business and revenue targets.
- Create and present proposals to prospective corporate partners to develop business opportunities within agreed timelines.
- Ensure submission of marketing plan and obtain approval from local and regional management for marketing budget for new campaign launches.
- Liaise with campaign management team, call centre and relevant internal and external stakeholders for campaign implementation and ongoing campaign performance.
- Organize periodic review meetings with sponsors.
- Communicate on market trends and competition.
- Preparation of yearly annual budget and agreed financial performance targets.
- Manage Partnership Marketing team.
- Develop subordinates for career progression.
- Ad-hoc functions as and when required.
- What you’ll need to succeed
- Tertiary education with 5 + years relevant experience from the Financial Services sector
- Strong leadership skills.
- Business Development proven experience with exposure to all distribution channels.
- Good presentation skill in developing proposals with negotiating and organizational skill.
