Sales Team Lead

Company Overview

We are partnering with a solar energy business in tandem with the Malaysian government’s strategies and initiatives to focus on renewable energy (RE) as an alternative electricity generation source and to reduce reliance on coal in the future.

Job Description :

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Lead client presentations and consultancy during business development stages.
• Attend site surveys to examine solar photovoltaic (PV) project feasibility and provide the Engineering team with relevant information for PV system design and layout drawing.
• Execute marketing and branding activities such as preparing sales kits, contributing to online and print advertising, and participating in exhibitions, roadshows, and seminars.
• Undertake other sales, marketing, and business development duties specified by Management from time to time.
