What you’ll be doing?
Territory Development : Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned territory, conducting market research and lead generation activities to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth in the competitive frozen food market.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing customers by ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction, addressing their needs promptly, and serving as their trusted advisor for frozen food solutions.
Strategic Sales Planning : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and achieve ambitious sales targets, analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to optimise approach and maximise results.
Marketing Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute targeted campaigns designed to attract new customers, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach.
CRM System Management : Accurately record and maintain comprehensive customer data and sales activities in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and providing valuable insights for sales forecasting and customer analysis.
Industry Intelligence : Stay current with industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and continuously expand product knowledge to provide valuable insights to the team and identify new business opportunities and market developments.
Team Collaboration : Contribute actively to the overall success of the sales department by participating in team meetings, sharing best practices, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve collective goals and maintain high performance standards.
Who are they looking for?
Industry Experience : Professionals with minimum 2 years of proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in the frozen food or FMCG industry, with experience in the seafood industry being highly advantageous.
Communication Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with demonstrated capacity to effectively engage with customers, build lasting relationships, and represent the company professionally across diverse client interactions.
Negotiation & Problem-Solving : Excellent negotiation and problem-solving capabilities to handle customer inquiries and objections effectively while finding mutually beneficial solutions that support customer satisfaction and business growth.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with experience using CRM software for customer management and sales tracking purposes.
Results-Driven Mindset : Proactive and results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating persistence, resilience, and commitment to achieving exceptional performance outcomes.
Industry Passion : Genuine enthusiasm for the frozen food industry combined with unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building strong business relationships that drive long-term success.
Language Skills : Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with diverse customers, suppliers, and team members across Malaysia’s multicultural business environment.
