A day in the life at Seiko… Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily operations and project schedules using Agile or digital planning tools to optimise workflow, resource allocation, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct cost evaluation and budgeting through estimation methods, data analysis, and financial modelling to forecast expenses, monitor cost drivers, and address variances for overall project cost efficiency and financial control. Oversee procurement and logistics planning by sourcing materials, coordinating deliveries, and balancing cost, quality, and timeliness using planning and tracking tools to support seamless project execution. Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and subcontractors through due diligence, market benchmarking, and negotiation of favourable contract terms in line with Malaysian standards and labour, safety, and regulations. Manage subcontractors by providing leadership and monitoring performance against customers' requirements to ensure compliance with labour, safety, and quality standards while maintaining progress under tight deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure alignment, resolve site issues promptly, and maintain effective communication and progress tracking toward project KPIs. Ensure compliance and documentation readiness by assisting in audits, preparing completion documents, and maintaining adherence to ISO, QMS, EMS, OHS, and Malaysian regulatory requirements for inspection, client approval, and sustainability objectives.
