CONVEYANCING LAWYER
We are seeking a qualified Conveyancing Lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of conveyancing matters, including the preparation of legal documentation, handling transactions, and providing advisory services to clients. This position requires a high level of independence, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), loan documentation, and related correspondence.
- Manage conveyancing files independently from initiation to completion.
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, developers, and relevant government authorities (e.g., Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN).
- Provide legal advice and opinions on property transactions and loan drawdowns.
- Facilitate the signing of SPAs and loan documentation.
- Conduct legal research relevant to conveyancing and real estate matters.
Pupil in Chambers
We are seeking a pupil in chambers who is eager to learn and grow in legal practice. The pupil in chambers will be exposed to litigation, conveyancing, and corporate departments throughout the pupillage.
Qualifications and Requirements
Conveyancing Lawyer
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Passed CLP / Bar Exam from a recognized university.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in conveyancing is required; candidates with 3 or more years of experience will be given preference.Strong academic background with sound knowledge of property and real estate law.Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to work independently.Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.Self-motivated, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.Must possess own transport and a valid driving license.Willing to travel for meetings or site visits when required.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Availability
