IT Project Manager

Overview :

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, and overseeing the execution of IT projects to ensure timely delivery within defined budgets. This role involves aligning internal teams and external vendors or consultants to achieve project goals. The IT Project Manager will define project objectives, manage quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, and act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Management : Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Budget Management : Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that project costs remain within the allocated budget.
• Team Coordination : Lead project teams, assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery of services and solutions in alignment with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the required quality standards.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
