The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in managing and optimizing cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure, focusing on delivering virtual machines using the organization's images. This resource will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining Azure resources while ensuring security and compliance throughout the cloud environment. Responsibilities

Participate in a cross-functional team in order to be able to perform all the tasks required to deliver the relevant products, services, processes and systems Design, implement, and manage virtual machines in Azure, utilizing the organization's standardized images for consistent deployment. Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness, applying best practices for cloud management. Collaborate with the team to automate the deployment of cloud resources using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell scripts. Implement and manage security controls for Azure resources, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Conduct regular assessments and audits of deployed cloud resources for security vulnerabilities and performance issues. Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud-based services, working closely with internal teams and customers. Keep documentation up-to-date regarding cloud architectures, configurations, and operational procedures. Stay current with Azure updates and new features, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance infrastructure and services. Work collaboratively with other teams to integrate cloud services with on-premises systems and applications. Qualifications

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, specifically within Microsoft Azure. Proven experience in deploying and managing virtual machines and other Azure resources. OS Basis Monitoring Scripting Technologies (MS PowerShell, Ansible, Visual Basic, Perl, and Batches) Experience accompanying server migration projects Very good application infrastructure experience Proficiency in Azure services, including VM deployment, networking, and storage options. Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting for automation. Very good in infrastructure and operating systems Very good operational architecture experience Secure application of knowledge of service management processes Very good experience in IT security Personal Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of diagnosing complex issues in cloud environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are desirable.
