Job Summary :
The Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise and sales support for Kabex Data Center and Fiber cable solutions (indoor / outdoor), as well as FTTx test measurement solutions. This role will focus on educating customers about our products, delivering effective presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving sales within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Sales Support :
- Provide technical insights and support for Kabex products, including data center and Fiber cable solutions.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations, emphasizing product features, performance, and benefits.
Customer Education and Engagement :
Educate customers on the company's products and equipment features, offering professional advice during sales interactions.Conduct site visits to demonstrate equipment and ensure the appropriate application of technical solutions.Sales Initiatives :
Manage and implement sales activities to achieve conversion rates and sales objectives within the assigned territory.Engage in proactive client outreach, including scheduled visits and strategic cold calling, to expand and strengthen the customer base.Proposal and Quotation Preparation :
Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs, including pricing negotiations and follow-up communications.Handle technical inquiries and ensure timely delivery of solutions to meet customer requirements.Performance Monitoring :
Prepare and submit detailed sales and marketing reports on a monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual basis to monitor performance and inform strategic decisions.Manage debt collection processes for sales transactions effectively.Customer Satisfaction :
Schedule periodic customer visits and conduct satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and improve service delivery.Develop and maintain strong after-sales support and goodwill with customers.Target Achievement :
Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets consistently.Pre-requisition :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications), or a related field. A degree in Computer Science is also acceptable.Experience : Minimum 2 years relevant experience in telecommunications, test and measurement, enterprise, or data center environments preferred.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.Possess own car transport and willingness to travel outstation.Excellent self-presentation and business etiquette. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.Proactive, self-motivated, and independent with a results-oriented approach and a drive to achieve targets.Contract-based employment
