Key Responsibilities :
1. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant laws.
- Prepare and file statutory returns with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Maintain statutory registers, company records, and minute books.
2. Board & Governance Support
Organize Board of Directors and shareholders' meetings, including preparing notices, agendas, and minutes.Record and maintain resolutions and decisions accurately.Advise the Board on corporate governance matters.3. Corporate Governance & Reporting
Assist in implementing governance policies and best practices.Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.Ensure timely submission of compliance and disclosure documents.4. Administrative & Office Duties
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.Maintain filing systems, records, and office documentation.Provide day-to-day administrative support to management as required.5. Stakeholder & Client Relations
Act as a contact point between the company, shareholders, and external advisors.Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and maintain confidentiality.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Corporate Administration, or related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial or administrative roles.Familiarity with the Companies Act 2016 and SSM procedures.Professional qualification (e.g., ICSA / MAICSA) is an advantage.Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of corporate secretarial practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.Organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office and secretarial software.High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
