The MICE Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and grow business in the MICE sector. This role oversees all aspects of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions / events, driving occupancy, venue usage, and revenue. The Director will lead and mentor the MICE sales team while ensuring alignment with brand strategy, operational excellence, and exceptional client satisfaction.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MICE segment to drive occupancy and maximize venue usage.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to adjust pricing strategies, event packages, and target markets.
• Prepare marketing concept papers, proposals, and strategic plans for MICE products and events.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to showcase offerings and expand industry contacts.
• Monitor and guide the sales team to achieve annual room night and revenue targets across RWG, RWA, RWK, and RWL.
• Assist the AVP of MICE in driving business performance and provide timely updates on progress.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor yield and occupancy performance, and generate regular sales performance reports.
• Develop and refine MICE product offerings, ensuring they meet market demand and align with brand strategy.
