Job Responsibility

• To learn the various job function in the kitchen and selling area assigned to him / her. Every area of work from the very minor to the major must be learned.
• To attend off job training from time to time to equip him / her with the necessary knowledge about the bakery.
• To assist the other bakers / trainee bakers in all the production work and to learn from the baker on all the products and techniques involved in the bakery.
• To work as a team with the other staff in the bakery and to ensure that the desired product is produced.
• To learn about the various products available in the La Boheme bakery and to display the various products on the selling floor according to the schematic plan. Always display the items in such a way that the shelves and gondolas will not look bare.
• To slice the various types of breads and loaves accordingly and to pack them into different sized plastic bags.
• To seal up the packed and to do the price tagging.
• To fry the doughnuts and learn up different time and frying temperature required for different stuffing and filling of the doughnut.
• To coat and top the doughnuts with sugar, chocolate, fruits, etc., after frying. Different temperature is needed for coating and topping the different products.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and also the selling area. All trays and thongs used by the customers Must be kept clean at all times, display table kept clean, floor must be kept clean and dry and all machinery cleaned and put in its proper place after use.
• To help to unload and receive deliveries for the department. Make sure that freezer and cooler space is made Available prior to the arrival of frozen merchandise and merchandise must be in good condition.
• To label the merchandise before storing and to assume first in, first out procedure for all products, whether perishable or not.
• To plan counter measure to recover shortage of store
• Other Duties : The employee may be required to perform additional tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by the company, based on business needs or as deemed necessary by management.
