Senior Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit review on new credit applications and other proposals involving credit exposures as well as non-performing receivables in accordance with the company’s credit policies and guidelines.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior Credit Associate (CA) on product knowledge, credit assessment technique and the company’s internal policies and procedures.
• Review reports prepared by Senior Associate (SA) and CA and support / supervise their preparation of credit evaluation reports, analysis of market condition, economic development and industry review.
• Perform regular updates on industry reviews by the rating / research houses for reference by Business Units to keep abreast of the fast-changing business landscape and environment.
• Conduct joint customer visits with Business Units and Branch visits when necessary.
• Support the department's review of new products’ performance, including risk monitoring to identify trends / risk characteristics of the loan portfolio.
• Undertake and assist matters in the spectrum of Risk Management related scope and any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
