Job descriptionEnsure warehouse complies with food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and HALAL. Maintain cleanliness, proper ventilation, pest control, and temperature monitoring (for chilled / frozen items). Report and isolate any non-conforming products or contamination risks. Maintain accurate documentation for audits (stock cards, delivery notes, inspection records). Prepare regular reports on stock levels, damaged goods, and operational KPIs. Assist in internal and external audits (e.g. JAKIM, MOH, third-party certifications). Supervise and guide warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow. Plan manpower allocation based on workload and production schedule. Conduct safety and handling briefings for warehouse team members. Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is used safely and maintained regularly. Enforce compliance with safety procedures (PPE usage, hazard reporting, emergency response). Qualification : Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent. Experience : Minimum 2–3 years in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG. Familiar with food safety and hygiene standards (GMP, HACCP). Strong leadership and communication skills. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email). Physical Requirements : Ability to work in cold storage environments and handle moderate physical tasks. Detail-oriented and organized Reliable and proactive Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
Key Responsibilities :
1. Warehouse Operations
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) practices are followed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the system (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound goods are properly documented and inspected.
