Job description3 years+ working in a Data Center or Mission Critical Environment with server and network equipment. Associate’s degree or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant course. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. Fluent in English language, both written and spoken Has own vehicle, preferred. The Opportunity :
Join our dynamic infrastructure team in Johor Bahru as a Senior Datacenter Operation Engineer and play a key role in building scalable services to manage our cutting-edge infrastructure. This is an exciting chance to be part of the launch and daily operations of our newly built datacenter, working hands-on with advanced server and network technologies, supporting mission-critical systems, and ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient operations from day one.
In this Role, you’ll get to :
- Point of contact to perform maintenance tasks to include server, network and peripheral devices request from teams.
- Ensure all on-site visitors follow safety protocols
- Take daily operational readings and provide metrics reporting to team leader.
- Perform basic support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, and task prioritization
- Perform root cause analysis for operational issues
