Head of Franchise – Chubb
Responsibilities
- To plan, implement, and drive all Franchise marketing initiatives, develop appropriate marketing strategies and to implement action steps in achieving targeted results via Agency distribution channel for Motor Line of Business.
- To ensure Franchise sales team deliver optimum results on top line achievement with alignment to the underwriting guidelines.
- To penetrate identified new franchises including initiating Sales Campaigns and sales incentive programs.
- To initiate research studies on the analysis of market segmentation to identify future motor franchise market opportunities and to develop marketing activities to fit related motor strategy.
- To develop, establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders – both agents and branches as identified and maintain market intelligence database – understanding & evaluating impacts and applying appropriate initiatives to the businesses.
- To manage and control expense budgets and costs on all marketing activities within stated budget.
- To co-ordinate, monitor and report on performance of identified schemes in conjunction with Underwriters with a dedicated focus on marketing, member penetration rates, GWP growth and administration.
- To ensure that the Company’s business is conducted with full compliance with the Financial Services Act and Regulations, all guidelines and circulars issued by Bank Negara Malaysia, and all relevant laws, rules and regulations affecting the Company’s business, including Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act.
- To coordinate and work effectively with other related business and product development units to achieve stated objectives.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least 10 years’ relevant experience in general insurance or similar capacity.Tertiary qualification in any discipline / Diploma or Professional qualification in insurance related studies.Strong marketing and business development skills. Results oriented.Good underwriting knowledge.Strong conceptual and strategic planning abilities.Effective leadership, co-ordination and motivational skills.Strong understanding of business requirements.Good sense of market trends and its impact on current and future businesses.Negotiation and dispute resolutions skills.Excellent interpersonal skills at various levels with good networking capabilitiesAbility to manage competing demands of multiple parties.Good mobility within the different states in MalaysiaComputer literate.Seniority level
