Overview

Engineering Manager - Offshore Platforms – Employment Type : 2-Year Contract

Leads multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver high-quality designs for offshore topsides, jackets, and supporting facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and technical standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead engineering teams delivering design packages for offshore facilities
Ensure technical compliance with project specifications, standards, and procedures
Develop and review design basis, specifications, and key engineering documentation
Review and approve discipline deliverables for quality and design integrity
Coordinate across disciplines for technical alignment
Conduct design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments
Provide technical leadership and mentorship
Interface with project, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical issues

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, or related)

Minimum 15 years' offshore engineering experience

At least 8 years in managerial or lead engineering roles for major offshore projects

Strong technical knowledge of offshore structures, piping, electrical, and instrumentation

Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate stakeholders

Excellent communication and decision-making skills
