Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communication strategy across social media and the school website.
- Plan and manage content calendars for social media platforms and website updates.
- Coordinate with school leadership and departments to align digital communication with academic calendars, events, and initiatives.
- Create and publish engaging content (text, photos, videos, graphics) on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter / X, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all platforms promptly and professionally.
- Foster positive engagement with students, parents, alumni, and community members through interactive content and conversations.
- Update and maintain the school's website, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
- Post news articles, event announcements, and calendar updates regularly.
- Monitor website performance and user experience, making improvements as needed with IT or external vendors.
- Track and analyze social media and website analytics (e.g., traffic, engagement, click-throughs).
- Prepare monthly or quarterly performance reports for school leadership.
- Use data to inform content strategy and identify areas for growth or improvement.
- Obtain and manage media release permissions for students featured in digital content.
- Provide basic training or guidance on digital best practices to staff or student ambassadors.
- Support school initiatives such as admissions, fundraising, and parent engagement with coordinated digital campaigns.
Requirements :
Diploma in one of the following (or a related field) :o Communications
o Marketing
o Journalism
o Public Relations
o Digital Media
o Graphic Design (optional but beneficial)
Experience in social media platforms, graphic design tools and apps and analytics tools.
Knowledge in digital trends, content strategies, written and verbal communication skills.
Can multi task and work well in a team.
