Senior Accountant

The main purpose of the job is to manage the accounting function within the general accounts team with accountability to FM. The position exists to ensure that all GL Account transactions, fixed assets, general invoicing and bank transactions are accurately accounted and reconciled per the company’s guidelines / policy and within the set time frames. The job contributes to effective and accurate accounting and reconciliation of intercompany accounts, depreciation, fixed assets, and bank transactions and to facilitate the monthly closing process. It also covers the following : Updating all expense invoices from suppliers, raising monthly Admin invoices, Arranging payments in HSBCNet.

Job Description

• 1. Manage bank and general accounting functions to ensure accuracy of postings and reporting.

Supervise the postings of bank entries daily to ensure that all bank receipts and payments are updated and reconciled with bank statements.

Ensure the compliance of accrual accounting for the closing by making sure all the supplier invoices relating to expenses are either booked or accrued.

To ensure number of open jobs are maintained within the agreed KPI numbers.

Assist FM with requirements of Internal / External Audit and reporting requirements.
