Responsibilities :
- Execute project planning, site investigations, preliminary design, and cost estimation for mechanical works, including :
i. Air Conditioning, Refrigerating & Mechanical Ventilation Systems
ii. Fire Fighting & Prevention Systems
iii. Cold / Hot Water & Water Reticulation Systems
iv. Sanitary and Waste Disposal Systems
v. Lifts, Escalators, Hoists, and Dumbwaiters
vi. Waste and Water Treatment Systems
Perform detailed design and engineering calculations for mechanical building services in assigned projects, ensuring all technical aspects are compliant and efficient.Ensure all mechanical systems and designs meet local codes, international codes, standards, and guidelines.Lead and manage the mechanical engineering aspects of projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring successful completion.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.Lead risk management efforts and implement mitigation strategies when necessary.Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior management, ensuring clear communication on milestones and progress.Provide leadership, technical guidance and ensuring technical challenges are addressed effectively.Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) certification is an added advantage.Extensive experience in the design and management of mechanical systems, including HVAC, fire fighting, water reticulation, and waste disposal systems.Strong knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and best practices.Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc.).Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.ADVANTAGE :
